I really detest the narrative of “going for low-hanging fruit”, of begging for progress in scraps and crumbs. I know we can get places by playing nice and taking part in the bureaucratic tea party. But every new time I have to smile politely and acquiesce and placate, I feel a burning urge to set the whole masquerade ball on fire.
I don’t want to assimilate. I want to rend the boundaries that dictate there is a standard to assimilate to.

Pensions sound so fake as a zillennial. You work for one place for decades (already sounds fake) and then afterwards you leave and they just. keep paying you. the same amount of money. to do nothing. for the rest of your life. if i wasn't already aware that this was something that readily and commonly existed during my grandparent's days then it would sound like some kind of socialist pipe dream

One of the worst parts of current internet culture is that it makes good old fashioned complaining so difficult. I don’t wanna cancel anyone or bully anyone, I’m not trying to form a hate mob I’m not calling anyone out, i just wanna bitch about something. Because complaining is fun, good for you, even.
